Fulfilling a dream and accomplishing a goal have their own rewards. It is
often the journey to the fulfillment and accomplishment, however, that satisfies the yearning to learn more and to expand
one's horizons.
Whatever
journey I am on today, I enjoy every moment of it. Every turning point is a change of direction that enriches my experiences.
I thank God for
everything--every lesson learned, every dream come true. I am making the most of my time and my efforts. I give back to God
by contributing my creativity and skills, my ideas and time, to enhance the lives of others.
"From there they sailed back to Antioch, where they had been commended to the grace of God for the work that they
had completed."--Acts 14:26
in Harmony with
god- listen to the small, still voice for guidance
I give from the love of God in my heart.
I am an expression of God's peace and love right where I am in the world
today. I become even more aware of this as I center myself in prayer and meditation.
In this sacred time, I accept the blessed assurance of God's
love for me and for all creation. If there is someone whose actions or words have caused me anguish or pain, I bring this
person to mind. I feel a healing take place within me as I forgive him or her. I also forgive myself for any actions or words
that might have caused another to feel hurt or unappreciated.
I have much to give as I give freely from the love of God in my heart. I am
in harmony with myself and with others.
"Make my joy complete: be of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind."--Philippians
2:2
Listen to god’s
still, small voice inside for every situation in life.
I am life in expression!
I live my life wisely and genuinely--always with the intention of contributing something
of value.
Thankful
for life, I take care of my mind and body and make wise choices. I eat a balanced diet, exercise regularly, and engage in
a variety of healthful activities. I maintain a balance of work and play, rest and action.
Mindful of my spiritual health, I center my thoughts in God.
I stay true to myself and honest with others.
Seeking goodness in all, I live life authentically and with integrity. This intentional way of living
enables me to fully express the Christ within.
I embrace all of life and reach out in joy to help others.
"Because I live, you also will live. ... I am in my Father,
and you in me, and I in you."--John 14:19, 20
Protected since
we are god’s children, loved and supported
God is all I need.
When we were children, we sometimes felt invincible. Nothing could stand in our way or harm us. Even
if we did have a concern, we were quickly comforted by the embrace of a parent or other caring adult.
As adults, we may feel that those protective
arms have fallen away. In such times of uncertainty, we can call on God's loving, sheltering presence.
The spirit of God is within us and goes
before us. At any time, any one of us can "lean on the everlasting arms" and feel safe and secure.
We are children of God, always loved
and supported.
"For the promise is for you, for your children, and for all who are far away, everyone whom the Lord our God calls
to him."--Acts 2:39
The all-knowing presence of God leads me to
my highest good.
I may use maps and navigational aids to find my way as I travel. If I'm in an unfamiliar location and unsure of an address,
I might ask directions.
In my journey of life, however, I don't have a road map, and no one has traveled my same path. Before I make a quick
judgment or hasty decision, I turn within to the all-knowing presence of God.
In prayer, I open my mind and heart to divine guidance. Knowing
that guidance may lead me in a direction I had not anticipated, I remain alert to the promptings of Spirit. I trust the unconditional
love of God as I follow the divine guidance that leads me to my highest good.
"The Lord will guide you continually,
and satisfy your needs in parched places."--Isaiah 58:11
Dear God, Your grace transforms my consciousness.
In moments of contemplation and prayer, I feel Your presence within, and I am healed and whole. I open to wisdom and Your
light shows me the way. I claim abundance and feel Your love supporting me.
Your grace blesses me abundantly and completely.
The people and situations I hold in prayer are being uplifted
and transformed by Your loving, healing presence.
Thank You, God, for Your grace, which gently leads me through any time of uncertainty. I see beyond
current circumstances and know that all is well.
"And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory,
the glory as of a father's only son, full of grace and truth."--John 1:14
My
thoughts are like seeds in the rich soil of my mind. As I think about abundance, I am sowing seeds that will produce it. I
focus on positive thoughts and hold them in prayer, fully expecting good outcomes.
If thoughts of fear or lack pop up, I release them just as I
would remove weeds from my garden. I refocus on the good that is here now, and I know there is more to come.
All good comes from God, expressing
through people and circumstances. As I open my mind to God, I receive divine ideas, add my creative thoughts, and take action.
I am an integral part of an abundant universe. I am a child of God, blessed with unlimited good.
"Other seed fell into good soil and brought forth grain, growing
up and increasing and yielding thirty and sixty and a hundredfold."--Mark 4:8
Life is fuller, richer, and more fun when I approach each day from the joy in my heart. The people I know and love bring
me joy, but I can also choose to manifest happiness on my own.
My favorite pastime may be hiking in nature or strolling through city shops
and streets. I may find one activity more enjoyable than the other, but I can still find joy in both. Even if I am doing mundane
tasks--no matter what I choose to do--the joy I create comes from within.
So whether I'm at dinner with friends or stuck in traffic, I remember happiness
is an inside job. As I appreciate everything in life, I am joy in expression!
"He will yet fill your mouth with laughter, and your lips
with shouts of joy."--Job 8:21
ComfortThe love of God enfolds
me and my loved ones. When I am
in need of comfort, I turn to the indwelling presence of God. As I take a deep breath in, I feel the love of God enfolding
me. As I breathe out, I experience a feeling
of peace, which relaxes me. And I know: God is always with me and with those I hold dear. I rest for a moment in the awareness
of God's presence. Deep in my heart, I feel
assured that those dear to me are enfolded in God's love now and forever. Neither distance, nor death, nor circumstances can
separate us from the presence of God. I
lift my thoughts to the truth of God's ever-present love, and I am comforted. "For I am convinced that neither death, nor life ...will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ
Jesus our Lord."--Romans 8:38, 39
Hearing the gentle patter of raindrops
on a windowpane, enjoying a conversation with a friend, joining in laughter with loved ones--what blessings these are! Such
simple pleasures are but a few of the abundant gifts from God that enrich my life's experience.
Gratitude invites even more good into my life. I thank God for
the blessings of reaching a goal, sharing a friendship, seeing a sunrise. I feel deep appreciation for the simple things in
life.
I acknowledge
my blessings one by one. As I do, I open my awareness to the goodness of God all around me. Truly, I am blessed beyond measure.
"Take
delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."--Psalm 37:4
I may not think of myself as a creative
person, but I know that I have unique talents and skills to share.
For instance, art may appear on a canvas, or it may appear in a meal prepared
with love. Some hands sculpt clay or play a musical instrument, and some gently hold the hand of a child. Wisdom can be found
in books, but it can also be found in quiet conversation across the kitchen table.
I am creative in my own unique way. As I more fully express
who I am, I bless others, and blessings flow back to me. I am creative, productive, and open to divine inspiration. I give
my gifts to the world.
"Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit that is from God, so that we may understand
the gifts bestowed on us by God."--1 Corinthians 2:12
